MINH HO
Founder &
Principal
HorizonCross Advisory
Minh works across business, capital and cross-border matters where the main challenge is often not execution itself, but understanding the wider situation before a direction is chosen.
His approach draws on experience across international banking, commercial operations and advisory work — combining an institutional view of risk and capital with the practical realities faced by business owners and families.

BACKGROUND
Experience across institutions, businesses and borders
01
International Banking
Minh's banking career has included roles across international and regional banking institutions.
His work gave him direct exposure to how financial institutions assess risk, capital, counterparties and transactions — and to the difference between a structure that appears workable on paper and one that can withstand institutional scrutiny.

02
Commercial & Entrepreneurial Experience
Beyond banking, Minh has founded and operated businesses across strategic advisory, international trade and consumer distribution.
That operating experience informs a practical view of strategy: recommendations ultimately have to work in the commercial reality of owners, counterparties, employees, customers and capital providers.
PERSPECTIVE
Different experience. One way of looking at a problem.
01
Institutional perspective
Understanding how banks, investment counterparties and professional advisers assess risk helps reveal constraints that may not be visible from the client's side alone.
03
Cross-border perspective
Jurisdictions are rarely isolated choices. Banking, capital, business, family and regulatory considerations can interact across borders.
02
Commercial reality
A technically valid structure is not necessarily a commercially workable one. Business incentives, ownership dynamics and execution realities matter.
04
Judgment before execution
The obvious solution is not always the right starting point. Sometimes the most useful contribution is identifying what should be examined before anything is implemented.
THE ROLE
Principal-led by design
Minh leads the strategic work at HorizonCross directly. His role is to frame the wider situation, test assumptions, examine trade-offs and establish direction before bringing in the specialists required for execution. Where legal, tax, regulated investment, immigration, financing or other specialist expertise is required, HorizonCross works with the appropriate professionals rather than attempting to replicate every discipline internally.
The objective is not to own every part of the work.
It is to keep sight of how the parts affect the whole.

APPROACH
The question behind the question
In many assignments, the client's initial question is entirely reasonable — but it may describe only the most visible part of the problem.
A financing question may ultimately involve ownership or collateral. A mobility question may have implications for capital or family structure. A commercial opportunity may depend less on the headline terms than on what must happen after the agreement is signed.
HorizonCross's work often begins by looking for that second layer.
